Review of Investigation – Yarm Fellowship Hall
Review- Yarm Fellowship Hall 18.5.19
A pretty interesting night full of twists and turns. The first 10 minutes of the evening we spent sat in the back room listening to the surroundings and getting a feel for the building. Having previous investigations here, the group were aware that child spirits reside here, we started to call out to them.
It was a slow start, however the group reported taps, and shadows appearing. One of the group said they felt they could sense a little girls presence, however she seemed reluctant to approach the group. A young boy did seem to come forward with the name “William.” He reached out to a couple members of the group, noticing a big temperature drop which we recorded on a temperature gun which stared at 18 and went down to 15.9 upon request and encouragement from the group.
After this the atmosphere in the room seemed to change and feel much heavier,. One member of the group seemed to be singled out and felt very intimidated and felt like someone was touching her elbow. Others in the room reported a dark shadow surrounding this person.
Moving on to using the spirit portal, a lot of shouting and growling came through, the group seemed to be quite unsettled by this as this was an unusual response from the box and requested that we try a different app. Upon switching, a female voice and one male voice started speaking giving the names Edward and John, the spirit mentioned the word sister (which a member of the group had claimed had previously stated) , before the woman would try and speak the man seemed to whisper as though try to dictate what the female voice should say. When asked why he did this, he stopped doing so and the female voice replied “Can’t” in response to our questions. The group interpreted that as she cannot speak for herself.
After a break, the group decided to split into two; one would try table tipping in the main hall and the other, mirror scrying (which they did upstairs).
The table tipping was slow to build at first, but once started seemed to continuously repeat the actions asked if it upon request. However, when moved to a bigger and heavier table, there wasn’t much movement but the group reported vibrations coming though the table. Those who did the mirror scrying seemed to describe something very similar in what they saw, a mans face with very menacing eyes a long face with a bigger nose.
With the evening moving on, the group tried using the SLS camera to see if they could capture any spirits, however this was to no avail. The group decided to move into the back room again and try communicating via the Ouija board.
The group started by the using a planchet, however not much seemed to happen. The group decided to use a glass, this then turned into a very active form of communication,. The group seemed to feel as the the negative energy was back and asked the occupation of the spirit, after several yes and no questions, it came through they were a “Vicar.” After responding further, one of the group jumped as they felt as someone had touched them. This happened again later in the session. The spirit was asked for its name to which it replied “Dick Black” this did cause quite a bit of laughter from the group. After further questions it was established the entity was playing with us and seemed to want to try and scare us. The board was closed.
A spirit box was then used, however nothing came through, the spirit portal was used once more, but nothing intelligible seemed to come through. The group decided to stop. For the final part of the investigation the group tried table tipping once more, with more of us together we tried the bigger table first with no success, the group decided to try the small table again, to which it did move vigorously. The group then ended the investigation with the closing prayer.
Overall, a fairly active night. As well as this activity we heard a couple clearly talking in another room and saw flashes and twinkling light in the room.
