What can I say. I have been with many groups over the years and these guys are by far the best. I wouldn't go with anyone else now. Investigators are all lovely and make the night about you and what you want. No faking or messing about. 100% spook hunting. Mel the owner is just lovely and goes out of her way to make your experience the best. Very professional and lovely group of welcoming people. Don't worry if your alone. You won't be for long. Highly recommended.
Last night was my first ghost hunt with Kindred Spirits Investigations and I have to say, I was impressed by the whole evening. We were with Catherine last night at Eden Camp and she was knowledgeable, friendly, welcoming and made the whole evening really enjoyable. What I particularly appreciated was her logical approach, debunking where possible which made the unexplained activity all the more genuine. The whole evening was well organised and we felt safe throughout. Will definitely do another!
Good night at Eden Camp last night, didn't have much activity, had a little , but had a good laugh with our group, everyone put their share in while investigating and really enjoyed the banter. great team to be around nothing too much trouble thanks all who were there last night
We have been on many investigations with Kindred Spirit Investigations and they never disappoint.
We were at Stanley Masonic Hall for the first time last night. Had lots of activity for first half of the night then it started to get a bit quieter as the night went on.
We were in Dave's group. He, like all other Kindred investigators is brilliant.
The thing we love about this team is that they are so welcoming and friendly. They ride the line so well between professional and laid back. Lots of devices and methods used to attract spirits and you can be as involved as want to be. Can't wait until the investigation. We will see you guys again at Saltburn Old School in June. Thanks again for a great night!

Brilliant night again last night thank you to Liv and all of our group. We have been to a few investigations now and have loved every one. Fantastic company to investigate with. We didn't know what to expect at our first investigation, the investigators are so friendly, welcoming, accomodating and down to earth, they really put you at ease. The nights are very well ran, very respectful, very intetesting and a lot of fun. The investigators have a wide range of equipment and welcome you to use it. Thank you again. A well-curated, active evening. Client safety and wellbeing was uppermost, equipment was top-notch, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming and inclusive.
We've already done 2 nights with kindred spirits. First was Ship Isis pub in Sunderland, that was such a good night with good results and a really good team. From that one we were all hooked and booked more. Our second was the North East land, sea and air museum on the 1st of April. Our team leader was Dave and he was brilliant. We got some amazing results through when using the spirit box, names which we had confirmed by the lovely caretaker Keith, who was also great and showed us a collection of photos of creepy things he'd caught on camera there over the years.
As soon as we got back we booked another which we can't wait to do next month.
Kindred Spirit Investigations are a brilliant company to deal with, really friendly and helpful.
Excellent group and thank you to all the staff involved Lesley, liv, Johnathan, Dave and especially Mel… thoroughly enjoyed both nights at Saltburn old school and Sunderland air museum… keep up the good work and what you do.. already looking forward to the lots events already booked…

I’ve been on a few investigations with Kindred Spirit Investigations - National Emergency Services Museum, North East Aircraft Museum, Mary Queen of Scots House, Knottingley Town Hall etc.
I really cool group of people and I would recommend them to anybody that is interested in going on a paranormal investigation. They have some great venues to choose from and the events are ran professionally.
Absolutely amazing experience. My team has been twice now and can’t wait for the 5th of may for our next visit. Whether you’re a sceptic or not you will come out as a true believer. Love every minute of it!
I’m still on such a high! I’ve been on my second investigation with Kindred Spirit Investigations, and just wow! Incredible, emotional, thrilling, joyful experience I have ever done. I’m so happy that we came across this wonderful team of people. Everyone is so welcoming and kind, they don’t pressure you into doing anything you don’t wish to, you can either sit back and watch, or you can get straight in and participate. I’ve attended two venues, Coxhoe Village Hall, which I must say was one to remember, some good activity, my second was 25th March 2023 where we attended Little Theatre Gateshead, we got some fabulous activity in one of many dressing rooms, within the theatre, such an incredible experience. I and my friends are looking forward to our next outing.

Absolutely amazing night! First sleepover/ ghost hunt and it was fantastic. Brilliant activity, staff were amazing and also the equipment that everyone could use. The Black Swan Inn-York is a very active place, highly recommend but highly recommend booking a ghost hunt with this fab team so friendly and felt so safe with them! Amazing night with Kindred Spirits Investigations in the Black Swan pub in York. Professional, friendly staff. All equipment supplied and shown how to use it, small groups but also they allow you to go off if you dare. This venue was a sleepover and didn't fail. We had non stop action - its creepy atmosphere uneven floors and amazing team spent hours ghost hunting if your a non believer you would certainly change your opinion after a night with Kindred, no fakeness just a friendly down to earth team wanting to find out why these spirits stay in their locations. Absolutely amazing. I was a believer before but wow my night will stay with me forever. The kindred spirits team are so lovely and warm, Mel felt like my comfort blanket! They were brilliant and explained everything so well, didn't make anyone do anything they were uncomfortable with and allowed us to try equipment we wanted to explore. This was my first sleepover, and it was at the black Swan inn and the undeniable spirit activity picked up was amazing. Great team, great night, great ghosts ?? will be booking again x
This was my first time going to this kind of event and wow what an experience. The staff are lovely, and very experienced. They have a wide range of equipment, to much that we didn't have time to use everything, but as a group you could pick out the equipment you would like to use. The staff showed us how the equipment worked and what it does and were very educated about the history of the location (Lazenby Village Hall). It was your personal choice if you wanted to join in or just watch, and no-one was ever pressured to do anything they were unsure about. The cat balls and Teddy were lighting up in all rooms which identify a spirit, and the temperature of the rooms dramitically dropped. Some names and dates come through on the devices we used and some people from the group could relate to the names and dates, in this case it was someones family member. We were able to connect to more than one spirit and at one point of the night were told to 'leave' and 'get out' through the spirit box. It was a new experience for me, and I am very intrigued to keep exploring this area further. I am looking at the different venues kindred spirits have to offer to be able to compare the experiences I have had so far.
If you ever want to know what a good paranormal investigation is, then look no further than KSI. No false hype, no nonsense, no fake happenings. KSI make you feel so welcome and you leave feeling like a part of their family. All the hosts are amazing especially Liv, Lesley and Mel. They let you use all of their equipment and if your not sure how to use it, they give you instructions. I cannot recommend this group enough. Come and see for yourself .

Can't recommend Kindred Spirit Investigations enough first time we come across this team we've never been with anyone else again we have been so let down in the past with other ghost Hunters but Kindred Spirit Investigations blow them out of the water. They're so knowledgeable about wherever we are and one thing I find exceptional is the time they have for you, I'm such an inquisitive person and never once felt left out. A big shout out also to the equipment absolutely brilliant we wouldn't go with anyone else now we've lost count how many we have been on totally amazing.

These guys are one of the best paranormal and friendliest teams out there in The North East of England ... You are made to feel so welcome and comfortable as soon as you walk in.. No fakery or trickery and you're allowed to use all their wide range of paranormal equipment.. They are so professional and know their stuff..Amazing paranormal team.. Give these guys a go you'll be addicted in no time .. I've already booked 2 more with them this year one being a sleepover and will be booking more this year with them.. Their moto being "IT'S YOUR NIGHT NOT OURS" A big change from some others we've used in the past who tended to make you feel like you shouldn't be doing what you want.. Can't rate these guys enough.
